Crashed Potatoes

This recipe has been floating around Facebook for a couple weeks and I decided to try it out for myself - check it out!

Recipe - Crashed Potatoes

  • small red skinned potatoes
  • 1T oil
  • salt & pepper
  • garlic powder
  • oregano
  • italian seasoning
  • parmesan cheese

Step 1
Boil potatoes until fork tender

Step 2
Lay the potatoes on a cookie sheet and "crash" them with a fork or potato masher

Step 3
Drizzle oil over potatoes

Step 4
Top with salt and pepper, garlic powder, oregano, italian seasoning and then parmesan cheese

Step 5
Bake at 425 for approx 20 minutes, serve hot

Instead of the garlic and seasonings try seasoned salt or montreal steak spice!

Family Thoughts

Everyone loves these, even the kiddos!  A new way to get potatoes on the table and fun to experiment with.
