Stacey - Did you know Canada?

I'm Stacey, work-at-home Mom to twin four year old boys, author of Did you know Canada?, weekly blogger at BuyCanadianFirst.ca and now so happy to be co-author of Canadian Moms Cook.

I am the queen of finding new recipes online, and now with Pinterest, I'm running out to the grocery store daily!  I get so many requests from friends and family on where I found new recipes, or want to know how it went - and you know, I wanted someone to tell ME how it went too!  So I am so happy to be sharing my finds and personal recipes with you on Canadian Moms Cook, telling you how it REALLY went and maybe how you can change it for the better.

Please email me at didyouknowcanada@gmail.com any time to chat, share recipes, tips and more!

I am Amanda, a former Kindergarten teacher turned stay-at-home Mom to two children; an 8 year old girl and a 4 year old boy, author of Multi-Testing Mommy (a Canadian blog sharing information, arts & crafts, product reviews, giveaways and more with Canadian women, Moms and families).

Baking is one of my passions. I love to bake new recipes both by myself and with my children. I own quite a few cookbooks and have reviewed a few of them, including the new LooneySpoons Collection. I love to read recipes online and in books and I have a ton of them bookmarked to try out. One of my favourite places to hang out online is Pinterest! There are so many fun ideas shared that I would like to test for myself.

I have some picky eaters in my family and look forward to sharing with you what my family thinks of the recipes that I find.

I love to connect with my readers, to hear feedback and to receive new ideas, so please feel free to email me at multitestngmommy {at} gmail [dot] com any time to chat with me!

  1. So nice to find fellow Canadians Moms that like to cook and bake... I am a Mom 3 grown children and a Mema(Grandma)... to our fabulous 3 grandchildren.
Now I get to cook and bake with the little ones just like I did when mine were young. It is so enjoyable for all of us. Watching them learn and make mistakes it is fun no matter how it turns out. They also help with the clean up...a bit anyway. They are a girl 5, a boy 4 and a girl 2. So much excitement with them.
Anyway thank you again for all of the work that you put into this blog.

    1. Thank you so much for sharing this with us and for commenting - we absolutely LOVE to learn about our readers!

If I am so fortunate to one day have Grand children, I can only hope to have the opportunities and experiences like you are. You sound like a wonderful Grandmother, your grand kids are very lucky!

Thanks again and please let us know which recipes you have tried out and your honest opinions too!
